Anyway... bored. *glares at the mood picture which still isn't fixed*

I should be studying math, that's tomorrow's mock, but... ugh. I don't wanna. And someone stole my copy of Remains of the Day, bastard. Ughughugh.

Mom's watching Dick van Dyke... ^^; I wanna watch this week's episode of Lie to Me because I missed it! >:!!!! It  was my brother's birthday yesterday so we went out to dinner when it was on... I cry. (And since flash player on my laptop's shot I gotta jack his for a bit to watch... le sigh.)

And then no House OR LTM for two weeks. More sighing.

Oh well... I guess I'll just RP for now. X3

*snorts at title* Stole this from 'ai-chan, duh, who stole is from Kana-kun. I pity you people.

1. I am fluent in Persian, also known as Farsi, although I've forgotten how to read/write it. 

2. My cat's name is so unpronounceable by un-Persian people that I've told everyone to call him Bo.

3. I used to hate my neighbors when they first moved, because the old ones had a daughter who was one of my closest friends. Now, I see them as second parents.

4. I have over 5000 emails from Kelpy alone, and they're all RPing. We started in either March or April.

5. Said Kelpy also calls me or I call her every-other-day or more. Said Kelpy also called while I was still at school and talked to one of my friends.

6. Said friend claims that I had sex with a chair named Dan in the lunch room. And repeated such in front of our chemisty teacher. Who stared at me.

7. I spend most of my time in "the office" -- the chemistry office of one of my two favourite teachers. Said chem teacher is one of my closest friends.

8. Other favourite teacher is my lit teacher, who I had freshman year and again this year. She is also one of the few people I trust.

9. One of the other few people I trust happens to be the "adopted" sister that I claimed, who lives over 4000 miles away. Said adopted sister is getting a visit from me post-graduation. Although I'd love for her to come here for mine.

10. There are two things I want most in life. One is a true friend. The other is a true love.

11. I periodically have crushes on anime/manga characters. It started when I was a child with book characters and has upgraded since.

12. It is possible to have an eargasm. Two things do such for me: Liz's whistling and Mello's dubbed voice.

13. I name my mp3 players. So far, they've been Lyra, Edurado, Raphael, Raphael Gabriel Segundo, and the current, Gabriel. The next one will be Michalangeo. (I plan to cover all the Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles XD)

14. I abuse the XD smiley more than any other. And have picked up the O: from Kelpy.

15. Songs can make me cry, and often have very powerful effects on me. They also express what I cannot.

16. I never tell anyone absolutely everything, especially if I trust them.

17. I hate romance movies even more than I love them. Although, I hate horror movies more than anything else and refuse to watch them.

18. I have no material fear. All of mine are psychological, and no one knows what they are.

19. My favourite movie is "The Dead Poet's Society", and not because the guy that plays Wilson is it in. Although that helps.

20. I love writing more than anything, but I think I've gotten worse and worse at it.

21. I also feel that I've gotten stupider.

22. I'm more worried about my future than I let on.

23. In fact, I'm more worried about a lot of things than I let on.

24. It takes a lot to make me not like someone. I always give them the benefit of the doubt until they piss me off. And when they piss me off, it's hard to make me like them again. Currently, there are four people who I can think of that I really don't like.

25. I quote TAS far more than any normal person should.

Hmm... so yes. For those of you who gathered from the icon *points to amazingness that is Johan Anderson*, I am, indeed, a GX fan.

But... it's not the same with me. Because I didn't start watching GX until last summer, and out of curiosity. And... it really is *nothing* like the original, as a whole. The whole "Sacred Beast Cards" thing or whatever was a TOTAL rip from the Egyptian Gods, duh, but the fundamental plots as a whole were different. Shadows for YGO, Darkness from GX -- perhaps Light for 5D's?

In any case, the show is coming to an end.

Season 3 was the best, hands down. The show actually had a plot, characters changed, and it was amazing. It was followed by only a decent season 4. And then to end it with the obvious YugixJudai duel?

... I don't know about other GX fans, but that's a crushing disappointment.

Don't get my wrong. I am ZOMGPSYCHOFANGIRLSQUEAL about seeing Yugi again *especially buff... wow*. But -- this just doesn't work. For several reasons:

1) The show never resolves anything. The whole "Darkness was behind everything since season 1" is CRAP.
2) WHOTHEHELL'SSUPPOSEDTOWIN!?!? Judai's merged with Yubel to make him more than human, and has the power of Haou. Yugi surpassed Atemu, the King of Games, in the ceremonial duel. Etiquette and fandom says it MUST be Yugi to win, but YGO says that the hero must always win -- thus Judai. ALSO, if Yugi wins, it can't move forward. Atemu-Yugi-Judai-5D's dude. There's a hierarchy, and one must always beat the other. Atemu stepped down, now Yugi must. (BUTIDON'TWANTHIMTOO!!!! *wails*)
3) THIS WAS SO PREDICATABLE AND DREADED.
4) HOW DOES THIS SEGUE INTO 5D'S?!?!
5) WHY IS THE SHOW SO *SHORT*?!

Et cetera.

So, yeah, these are my thoughts. I promise to put an excerpt of the fic next post.

So, duh, Season Tres of ze contest de Compy is over, will dearest 'ai-chan as the winner. Here I take the time to fully express my sincere happiness of that case.

My dearest Shadow, we first came into contact when you reviewed my major YGOHP xover, New Professors, New Adventures, saying that it was good and that you were going to write a YGOHP xover of your own. That became With A Wave Of The Wand, the monstrosity that is now one of the most popular YGOHP xovers out there.

Since then, your writing has matured, and morphed into the impressive monster that it is now. Your skills are far superior to most that I know, including myself; it brings to life the image and emotions of your characters, even when you're working with those with not even an ounce of personality. If a challenge is issued, you soar above it and write something that leaves the reader reeling, thinking and wanting more. What was once a simple bolt of lightning suddenly becomes a searing flash of light, a deep roar as twenty feet away, something strikes the ground and makes the hair stand on the character's neck, the singed smell of grass filling his or her nostrils as survival instincts kick in, a frozen moment in time before feet pound the gravel underneath. Nothing is ever flat, boring, 2D with you. Everything is alive, and it's all just something for you to work with and present.

The contest only honed your skills. As you rose to even the monsters of chuteshipping and fillershipping, you showed us all that nothing is impossible to be written, that even people who have never met can grow and learn to love. That despite the odds, any two people can come together in *some* sort of situation and prove that they are better that that.

So congrats, saiai-chan. Because that's what you are, my saiai, and that's what you will always be. And thank you, for not only the stories that have let me and others stunned and frozen to the spot, but for your support, emails, and love. Which is why that June is so much more convenient for me to visit, and I hope you're not off to your gran's (?) in Australia when I *am* in your country. x3

So lovely, our names, aren't they? HIKARI vs. SHADOW has now turned into YUGI vs. YAMI, the latter of which is on a hunt for her lost memories. xDD This is why we heart Kelpy. ^^

In other case, fillershipping means Noa Kaiba x Rebecca Hawkins. Which is insanity, but I ACTUALLY HAVE A PLOT. Originally, it was going to be when they were both kids, before Noa's accident, but... the ages just didn't work. So now, it's a not-quite post-season but not really in a specific season. Post-DOMA, anyway. And-and the ending's SAD. ^^ I'm excited. I'm just worried at what 'ai-chan's going to throw at me... okay, we all know that she's the better writer and is going to win this, but I'm going to write such a fic that it's going to STUNNNNN.
